Privacy Policy
How Work Visa Georgia collects, uses, stores and shares personal data.
Effective date: 2026-10-20
1. Who we are
LLC Work Visa Georgia ("Work Visa Georgia", "WVG", "we") is a recruitment company registered in Georgia, identification code 438124450, at Tbilisi, 10 Navtlughi Street, Building C, Entrance 3, Floor 1, Office 29A.
We introduce candidates in Georgia to employers abroad. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we process it, who it is shared with, and how you can ask us to correct or delete it.
2. Where your data comes from
We receive personal data through the following channels:
- the registration and application forms on this website
- contact and enquiry forms on this website
- lead forms hosted by Meta on our Facebook and Instagram pages
- documents and information you send us directly, for example by email or messaging apps
- information you give us during interviews, calls and assessments
3. What data we collect
Depending on the channel and how far your application progresses, this can include:
- identity and contact details — your name, phone number, WhatsApp number and email address
- professional information — your profession or specialisation as you describe it, the positions you would like to work in, a description of your experience and duties, your years of experience, other skills, the countries you have worked in, and how you could document your experience
- education and qualifications — the type of education or training you have, and for vocational, higher or course-based training: the institution, its country, the programme, its length, the year you completed it (or that it is ongoing), the document you received and whether you have it, and what you know about its state accreditation and about any recognition decision in the destination country
- language skills — your own assessment of your level in German, English and other languages; whether you hold a language certificate or are registered for an exam, and if so the level, the issuing organisation and the date you give us; and whether you are willing to learn or improve a language
- readiness and right to work — when you could start, whether you are ready for an online interview with an employer, and whether you say you hold a current right to work in a European Union country, with that country and the type of basis or document. We do not ask for document numbers or copies at this stage
- consents — which consent boxes you ticked, when, and the version of their wording, including any optional consent to receive messages about future opportunities
- how you reached us — the page of this website and any campaign label in the link you followed (for example a TikTok or WhatsApp link). This contains no personal data
- application details — your age, and answers to questions relevant to the role, such as whether you have worked abroad before or have had a border or visa problem
- candidate documents, where applicable — for example identity or travel documents, qualification or training certificates, and other documents required by an employer or by an immigration procedure
- correspondence — the messages you exchange with us and notes from our conversations
- technical identifiers attached to a submission, such as the reference a lead form assigns to it and the time it was submitted
What you tell us about your education, qualifications, languages and right to work is recorded as your own statement. We do not treat it as verified, and it does not by itself decide whether a role or a visa is available to you.
4. Why we process it
We process personal data in order to provide recruitment services. Specifically:
- to respond to your enquiry and to contact you about recruitment
- to assess your profession, experience, education and language skills, and your suitability for roles we are working on, including against the current and future needs of the agencies and employers we work with. This assessment is carried out by Work Visa Georgia
- where you tick the separate, optional box, to send you messages about future opportunities; you can ask us to stop at any time, and declining does not affect your registration
- to prepare and present your candidacy to prospective or approved foreign employers for roles you are being considered for
- to support the documentation and administrative steps that a placement requires
- to keep records of our recruitment activity, including which candidates have already been contacted, so that we do not contact you repeatedly in error
5. Sharing with employers
Recruitment works by introducing candidates to employers. Where you are being considered for a role, we share the information relevant to that role — typically your name, contact details, profession and experience, and where the employer or an immigration procedure requires it, supporting documents — with the prospective or approved employer concerned.
Employers to whom we present candidates are located abroad, which means your data may be transferred outside Georgia. We share your data for the purpose of your application; we do not sell it, and we do not share it for advertising.
Submitting a registration on this website does not by itself send your data to any employer or partner agency: nothing is transferred automatically. Your registration is reviewed by Work Visa Georgia first.
6. Service providers and platforms
We use third-party services to operate. The ones that handle personal data are:
- Google — candidate and lead records are held in Google Workspace, including Google Sheets and Google Drive, which act as our business datastore
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — lead forms are provided and hosted by Meta, which collects your answers and passes them to us; Meta's own handling of your data is governed by Meta's privacy policy, not by this one
- our website hosting provider, which serves this site
7. Security and access
Candidate and lead records are held in private company accounts, not published on this website and not publicly accessible. Internal administrative access is protected by authentication, and access is limited to Work Visa Georgia personnel who need it for recruitment work.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim that it is. We take reasonable measures appropriate to the size of our operation.
8. How long we keep it
We retain personal data for as long as is reasonably necessary for the recruitment and application purposes described above, and for related record-keeping needs.
We have not set a fixed retention period. Where you ask us to delete your data, we consider the request alongside information that may reasonably need to be retained for legitimate administrative, contractual, legal, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention or compliance purposes.
9. Your requests
Write to info@wvg.ge if you want to:
- ask what personal data about you we hold
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or out of date
- ask us to delete your data
- ask us to stop contacting you
- withdraw your application
We will review valid requests, act on them as appropriate, and communicate the outcome to you.
10. Deleting your data
Send a deletion request to info@wvg.ge, from the email address you used or including the phone number you gave us, so that we can identify your record. We will review the request, act on it as appropriate, and communicate the outcome to you.
Where your details have previously been shared with an employer, we may provide information about relevant recipients where appropriate and reasonably available, subject to applicable confidentiality, legal, contractual and operational limitations.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the effective date shown above.
