Employment in Slovakia

We offer complete assistance for registering a sole proprietorship (“živnosť”) in Slovakia and obtaining a residence permit.

What is required to open a “živnosť” in Slovakia:

1. Legal company address in Slovakia – we will provide

2. Accommodation address (hotel or apartment) – we will provide

3. Bank accounts:

   • Account 1: minimum 3,300 EUR

   • Account 2: minimum 5,500 EUR
     Funds must remain in the bank accounts for at least 3 months to prove financial stability to the police.

4. Criminal record certificate (in English, with apostille) – required twice:

   • First – for registering the živnosť

   • Second – after 3 months, for applying for the residence permit

5. Registration with the Slovak police

6. After 3 months, a residence card is issued, valid for 1.5–2 years

7. After receiving the živnosť, the person is obligated to:

   • Pay taxes

   • First year – only health insurance (110–130 EUR/month)

   • Second year – also pay social contributions (220–240 EUR/month)

   • After 2 years – possible to extend the residence permit for another 2 years

   • After 5 years – eligible to receive a 10-year residence card

Options for confirming financial resources:

Option 1 – Bank accounts in Georgia

• The candidate deposits 3,300 EUR and 5,500 EUR into their personal accounts in Georgia and holds the funds there for 3 months.

• A certified bank statement (with official stamp and signature) must be presented to the police.

• Service fee: 3,000 EUR

  • 1,250 EUR – upon registration

  • 1,850 EUR – after receiving the residence card

Option 2 – Bank accounts in Slovakia, funds deposited by the candidate

• We assist with opening accounts in Slovakia

• The candidate deposits 3,300 EUR and 5,500 EUR into the accounts and keeps them there for 3 months

• Service fee: 3,300 EUR

  • 1,550 EUR – upon registration

  • 1,750 EUR – after receiving the residence card

Option 3 – Bank accounts in Slovakia, funds provided by us

• We fully provide and place the required funds into the accounts

• Service fee: 4,300 EUR

  • 2,550 EUR – upon registration

  • 1,750 EUR – after receiving the residence card

 

With this "živnosť", individuals can also work in other European countries. We provide all services within Slovakia.
